Just Hatched

While working in the back yard on the new step we were graced with a new arrival. I have planted Milkweed in the back yard once and it returns every year. Now milkweed is very important to the butterfly world. The sticky fine hair like substance that forms after it flowers is used to make the cocoons. We always have about 15 to 20 cocoon's waiting to be hatched. This little one hatched and was waiting for his wings to straighten out and dry so he could fly away. AMAZING!!!! I soon hope to capture the actual hatching on film. Maybe this summer.

He Loves Me...He Loves Me Not...He Loves Me...

Today I sat outside dead heading my pretty purple daisies and thought to my self. I cant recall ever playing He loves me ... He Loves Me not... With my daisies..So I thought of the two things I love the most. GOD and GREG... And of course they came out as HE LOVES ME!!!

Spring Has Sprung

Spring is coming alive in the front yard. One of my favorite roses is in full bloom. It is called a Joseph Coat. I love the way it blends from yellow to orange to light red to fire engine red.
Now if only I could do something about the grasshoppers. As you can see they have the thoughts of "Come here my sweet pretty leaves let me taste your goodness" Oh Well I guess fish gotta swim, birds gotta eat, grasshoppers do to!!!

May your yard be blooming with all of GOD's wonders and "May all your weeds be wild flowers"
